The Relationship Between Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Weight Gain

If you are trying to lose weight caused by irritable bowel syndrome, you are also going to have to come up with an effective exercise regime. Cardiovascular activity is especially effective if you want to lose weight, and it is a great exercise because it not only helps you to burn calories and lose weight but to tone up as well. It also makes your heart stronger which is great because then it does not have to work so hard to pump blood and it helps to reduce your risk of heart attack, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure.

Remember that meat, dairy products, and egg yolks are all dangerous when it comes to a condition such as irritable bowel syndrome, and in fact, in some people their high fat content actually can cause violent and rapid colon spasms. There are many other foods that you want to avoid as well if you suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, but there are also certain foods that you want to increase in your diet.
